January Birthdays!!

The new year has been off to a good start!  We have celebrated two more birthdays!  Casey and Olivia celebrated their special days this month.  We hope they enjoyed their days!!  Happy Birthday Casey and Olivia!

 

 It is hard to believe but we will be celebrating our 100th day of school on Friday!  It seems this year is flying by!  Check back later for pictures from our special day!

I can't believe next week is the last week of school before Christmas!!  Half of the school year is over and it seems like it has flown by!! 



Thanksgiving and Happy Birthday Ms. Tiffany!!

I have gotten  just a little behind on my posts!  Sorry!! This time of the year things seem so busy at school and home!  I had wanted to post a picture of our sweet little Indians at Thanksgiving and never got a chance to.  They looked sooo cute and really enjoyed dressing up for their own feast!  Thank you SO MUCH to all the parents who sent in the delicious food and all those who took time to volunteer at the feast!  We are so THANKFUL for each of you!  This wouldn't have been possible without your help!

Also, something we definitely can't forget,  Ms. Tiffany celebrated a birthday this week!  Happy Birthday Ms. Tiffany!  We hope you had the best day ever!  We appreciate all you do for us each and every day! :)

We also had a special assembly on Veteran's Day.  Ask your child to tell you all about it!!!  We are getting ready for our next big event...our Thanksgiving Feast!!  Don't forget to send in your child's pillowcase for their costumes! :)

Red Ribbon Week, Lost Tooth, and a Winner!!

We had a very busy week in Kindergarten!!!  We kicked off Red Ribbon Week wearing all red!  Here are the students showing how proud they are to be drug free!

Thanks for all your support during the week.  We had LOTS of canned goods brought in.  The kids seemed to have lots of fun!  We had another exciting thing happen this week while I was teaching a lesson at the rug!  I heard someone yell "I lost my tooth!"!  Congratualtions, Olivia!  She was a little upset at first but look at that smile after Nurse Julie gave her a treasure box for her tooth!

We also had an attendance assembly on Friday to recognize those who had perfect attendance the first nine weeks of school.  We had a lucky girl in our class!  Madison's name was drawn from kindergarten to win a prize!  Congratulations, Madison!  Don't forget..when you miss school...you miss out! :)



We ended off the week watching a Pep Rally in the high school to show our support for the band going to state this weekend and for the other fall sports.  I think the kids really enjoyed hearing the band play and they got to see the Demon mascot and give him five which made their day! :)  Next week should be a little calmer and filled with lots of learning!  Don't forget no school on Tuesday!!

Fall Nature Walk

On Friday, the kids were very excited to go outside and enjoy the fall weather and the sights and sounds of our schools nature trail!  Here are some pictures of our fun time together!

Happy Birthday, BrentLee!!!

We had another October birthday!  BrentLee was lucky this year and actually got to be home on her 'real' birthday, October 11th!  Lucky girl!!!
